How do you do the Fed TNG style windows on the top of the saucer? Like on WZ's Sovies, for example. How do you do the "radial pattern" without distorting the shape of them?
Thanks

The same way I do the registries and escape pods. Usually the windows are just the letter "I" repeated over and over. There are different fonts that would work, so there's nothing particularly special there. Basically, if you can do a curved saucer registry (either in PSP or PS), then the windows shouldn't be any different.
You can tamper with the kerning/spacing and other settings, and in the case of TNG Feds, delete a few windows here and there and black out others to make it look less uniform. It's also best to fill in the white with some sort of texture to give the illusion of there being rooms behind those windows as pure white usually looks tacky on the Feds.
