Hmmm....
Over all I like the idea, but somethings just don't quite sit right with me on her.
Not to sure about the Deflector, I like it but not to sure I like it on this ship. Hard to put in words exactly but I think it is a bit to long, think it might look better if it did not protrude as far as the lower hull does. Would be hard to say until I could actually see it, hard to say when the only pic is the one in my head.
You also might want to to lengthen the lower section on the neck out more towards the shuttle bay. it pushes out fine but the curve back in seems to stop to suddenly compare to the rest of the curves on the ship.
The next item is the warp pylons. I think they are to curved comapred to the rest of the ships area around them. I like idea but less of a curve, or more like the necks curve would be better. What it might also be is how they seem really thin just before they go straight to the warp engines. Maybe a less curve at the front and a more pronouced curve in the back, basically thickening them at the engine connection area.
The next item is the impulse engines. I think the extra protrusion on them really is not needed. if anything push it in only near the edges kind of like on the galaxy. Think right now it looks to busy and would do better with a more simplified look to them.
Lastly is the area on the secondary hull under the shuttle bay area. It ends rather abruptly might want to think about a curve upwards or use the cutaway like on the traditional Connies.
I hope whoever does the unwrapping on her does a good job, and doesn't try to shortcut or reuse an area on her. I think this ship would look good in high end texures with more of a Excelsior Aztec pattern with more Gray than blue in it. It seems to say White and gray colours to me with red pen-stripes on the Saucer top ,bottom, the engine tops and the flat area on the side of secondary hull. With light to medium blue areas to make the gray stand out
-GAFY?

lol All I can say, is when you build a ship to your liking, then it will be done. In general I do not post designs for "discussion", rather, it is to show you guys what I am thinking at any given moment. If I were to tweak things, it would be little details, not structual changes, as I did them the way I did , because that's what I wanted. To make things "look/feel better" is redundant and a waste, as I cannot please everyone, so I choose to acknowledge my harshest critic...Myself. Now this is not to say I will not take yours or anyone else's suggestions, it will just most-likely be applied to this ship, but kept in mind for a possible future prospect. The Pylon comment that you stated, actually flows with the neck's curveature quite well, and was modelled under that ideal. It too follows the Neck's shape quite closely, thus recreating the neck's contition, just more swept, due to its placement. The Neck, is placed where I wanted it, it doesn't need to be pulled back all the way to the ship's aft, again, details may be tweaked, as in the addition of a spine, but then again not. Next, the secondary hull as well is within its proper placement, shape, and size to be within the ship's total proportion. If that were to change, you would change the overall of said proportions, thus negating what I originally intended/desired(so what would be the point ?). As for the Imps, that is my style for them, I usually opt a double tiered design (show's how much people pay attention to my design ethos, and details), as is my style. Lastly the Ventral cut-away, the most I would do, would be to cut into it to create a similar effect/condition as the above shuttlebay as I would use that cut-out or hole as an aft exposed sensor pallet/plate, the way that the foward one is on the front of the vessel. But then again I may not.
Anyway, I don't usually take the time out to "explain my ideas", As I find it a time consuming endeavor (time, in which I usually do not have the luxury of...). Most of my stuff is straight forward, and designed to "challenge" (as stated numerously before). But since you took the time to write up such a lengthy reply, I felt obligated that I should respond. thanks for the comments.

Trust me I know how you feel about making things the way i like them. That pretty much covers the reason I do retextures, and why I usually don't show any WIP shots. If I am doing work for someone I send them WIP shots as I try to give them what they are looking for.
I just figured I might as well try as it seems that things are still at a early stage where changes if they make sense will be at least thought over. Which by the way you did, you thought it over and went nah I think I like it the way it is, that is prefectly acceptable. Everything else asside I do hope it gets a good mapping job on the texture sheets, as I still thing this ship could work out well with high end textures. Sooner or later I will learn how to model and actually get a modelling program, probably in the reverse order there, and fix things the way I like them too. Right now though I will just texture things.

Its a great design... looks like it is made for shooting things, to be blunt.
