I'm asking for premission to use a model of yours or ya'lls that a mod that I'm making? The model that I want to uses is the Deathwing! The Deathwing will be the klingons flagship!
So can I uses deathwing in my mod?

You don't have to ask permission if the unaltered ship is just being used in a mod since that's basically what it was meant for  Permissions, requests, credits, bribery, gnashing of teeth...all those sorts of things only come into play when the ship itself is modified for public release or converted to another game. As for it being used in this case, as long as the readme file is included and it isn't posted as an individual download - and you don't piss off the Klingon Chancellor - it's fine by me. |

Wicked Zombie I check it and I did change two phaser hardpoints and added two torpedos!
both phaser and torpedo hardpoints are at the end of the wings!
So is it still alright for me to uses it?

I like the old and new titan models! But the new titan model will make the other Federation ships in my mod look crapy!

Wicked Zombie can I also please have your permission to mod your old Titan class? I would like to port it over to Legacy with lightmaps and slightly altered textures and hardpoints, I realize that it's not fully yours but because I see other people here asking for the same thing I figured your the right person to ask. Can I please?

I'm disappointed to hear that and I totally respect you guys' point of views and all but what is it about Legacy that advanced modelers like you, Atolm, DJ Curtis and many others despise so much not wanting to have anything to do with. I've been noticing this kind of grudge against this game for some time now but never really knew why. Any chance you can fill me in here on whats goin on?

There are a few reasons actually. One of the more prevailing ones is that Legacy is one of the biggests trek let downs to date. Others, like me, didn't like the community that was developing with legacy (to many people who had this gimme attitude, and plenty of others that had no respect for other peoples work). Still others hate it because... well... its legacy  . |

Was over at the Legacy Community when it first started, could not have been treated worse. I don't know if things have improved since then as i usually take about a year or so off from a community that treats me that poorly.
If they have gotten better then the ones that stayed must have finally put the abusers inline, and that would be great. Either way it will be awhile before the ones that left decide to take a look again, if they ever do. Glad to see that the experience you have had there was better than mine, considering you are trying to get things going there, it means there is still hope there.

Really appreciate the kind words gotafarmyet(thanks)but I must say....daaaaaaaann! it was really that bad back then(you know I'm starting to feel bad now being part of that community). For the past four months that I've been goin there I've only noticed two very harsh posts and they are from two different individuals that don't really go there that often. Assides from that, the locals are quite friendly and very supportive and if some of these locals were the bad mouths back then..well it looks like they finaly realized the error of their ways......
..I freely admit Legacy is fine game despite it's flaws and the kind of community that sprouted along side it, with certain mods installed I'm having a great time playing it. I just wish that new people like me wouldn't have to bare the burden from other peoples lack of respect for one onother in the past in trying to improve the game even further.
